This recent ebagger has caught my eye.

Wow Rick! Looking to get an economy car to compliment the Caddy????

Good luck. Actually, the wheels on it are not junk, just may not be your taste (or mine in that size, look too big on the car). They are a set of Coventry Hornet wheels. One of the very few wheels out there that are actually made to fit a Jaguar.

Here is their website. Coventry Wheels for Jaguar - the Proper Wheels for Jaguar Motor Cars

So, get it and take @totalimmortal363 up on his offer of trade to take her back to stock.... but who knows, you may look at the car in person and find that you like them. Just know that they are not "universal" fit wheels and are actually made for these cars.

Fingers crossed that you get it....

Rick,

No matter hard you try, it will still be Joyce's car. It looks good though.

Maybe a silly question but why does it have another radio fitted where the ashtray should be?

Quite possible to happen now that's on this forum.
Another auto forum I belong to expressly prohibits posting active ebay bids, just for that reason.
Example, you're bidding on an item and another forum member says "Lookee here....." now it creates interest and could screw the original bidder into either increasing his bid or getting out bid and losing something he wanted.
A forum rule perhaps ???

Yesser.... In the S Type the Sat radio was a FM interface system with a mounting for the ashtray area. I moved mine to the dash because I liked the "purdy" wood ashtray.

psst... It also has a hands free phone setup... Note the mic up on the headliner.... Cool!

BTW: Rick, If you get it PM me about the sat radio.... I still have mine out of the S Type...

I really sincerely hope that people on this forum are "grown up" enough and ethical enough not to scr*w Rick out of this car.

Funny one Michael with the paypal.

It won't be me. I try not to get black, silver or white cars. Note that both mine are blue. Getting the Jag in the right color was a bit trying though. It was like the third or fourth car I was trying to buy.
