Default STR Cam or Crank Position Sensor

I see inconsistent wording, location, and R/R instructions for this/these sensors on our cars. I have a 2005 STR, with these symptoms: crank, run, fizzle. Crank, run, fizzle. Crank, run, sputter, catch, stabilize at a nice idle and then runs perfectly, but rich. My MPG is dropping.

Not a fuel delivery issue, since I've already checked the PSI at the fuel rail. Since they are reasonably cheap, and apparently easy to get to, I want to replace the CPS - but I don't know where they are. I believe this is the part number: 18405.AJ81284

Any insight?

Ken

i copy/pasted this for ya.

That is easy. It is located under the engine at the rear facing the transmission. Simply unplug the connector and remove the single bolt holding it in place. You will see it, it’s the only sensor there, in the center rear most part of the engine just before the transmission.
