STR No crank: PATS code 24

What are the icons doing in the upper right side of the screen we can't see? What version are you running as that is also cut off?
Don't do anything if the battery one is NOT green. Do you have a proper DC power supply hooked up to the car and NOT a battery charger?
Here is my car;
It also seems strange you don't have very many modules listed compared to my 2014 XJ? But that maybe just due to different cars?
I think NBCat and Karl are pointing to the possible problem? Have you done any wiring checks as suggested?

Just found this (http://jagrepair.com/images/Electrical/XFWorkshopManual/Electronic Feature Group.pdf) on the XF while searching for code 24;
Check that the High Speed CAN network is not malfunctioning, i.e. the CAN circuit is open or short circuit. This would mean that the instrument cluster and ECM would be unable to communicate resulting in no Challenge being performed to enable the ECM. This would be supported by LED Flash Code 24, see PATS Fault Code Table.
After the instrument cluster has transmitted its first PATS idle message, it will start a 2 second timer running. If the PATS sequence does not complete (Cluster received the Enable msg) within this time period the instrument cluster will set this DTC - Idle message missing - code 24 flashing 10 times
, which corresponds to what I had assumed - can bus problems means the IC cannot talk to the ECM.

Hey great find! I finally see code 24 for PATS!
I do see there are also numerous "B" codes associated with any PATS code so I think SDD would give a more complete answer.
But that PATS 24 code is a rare and unknown code for sure!
They don't give us much to go on for the repair?
"In all cases of suspected non-start issues, the most logical failure modes should be eliminated first. i.e.
1. Check all relevant supplies and grounds to the relevant modules listed herein.
2. Note any unusual behavior from other systems/functionality.
3. Note any functions that are not operating as expected."
Pretty skimpy!

I've checked the front wiring harness as best I can, could not see any broken wires.
I am thinking it is time to either get an Auto Electrician to come have a look, or get it collected and taken to a reputable garage. The problem is 'reputable' - all the Jaguar Specialists near me (Andover, Hampshire, UK) are very expensive, and I am worried it will cost more than the car is worth to repair.
