Default STR production figures.

It's probably on here somewhere, but I was wondering if there is a website out there that breaks down production by trim and colors etc. I have a 2003 STR, curious to know how may R's were made that year, how many of each color etc. maybe Jaguar would have that information. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.

There are threads about numbers, broken down a bit by model, country, etc but I've not seen trim, colours, etc. Jaguar Heritage or whatever they now call it are the people to ask I suspect.

I tabulated all the Dew 98 platform production numbers I could find a while ago.
S-type numbers based on what I found posted on thus forum. See attached.

I suspect the '09 figures are hold over '08s.

But it would be nice if the XF figures could be added to the list since they are DEW98s, too

FYI, I just posted a note over on the XF list noting the passing of the DEW98 platform.

Oh, does everyone else follow things over on the XF list? Lots of discussions there apply to S-Types (the '09-'10s, at least, were really just S-Types wearing new clothes...)

Made in 2007 (as I believe none were made later than that). But they are as well as the table posted, rather than included in its numbers.

So I think they are not "production" numbers but more like units sold.

Your (last 6 of) VIN is an even better idea how near the end of production yours was.

(Latest I recall encountering N89185)

You might get some build info from FordEtis home page if you put in the full VIN

Ha, that would be mine! Where did you get that VIN?

I found this car at a northern New Jersey dealer in May '13. It was originally an LA car that migrated to New York State via Washington State. It had ~48K miles on it when I drove down from Boston and traded my '05 X-Type.

Does it really seem to be last S-Type imported?

May have seen an ad.

Probably not the last one (imported or otherwise) - just the latest I've encountered.

Final VIN is supposed to be N91220
