Ok, so I should have probably asked this before I had a butt load of potential energy.
I am assembling new KYB struts and I bought newer duralast mounts. The thing is the old rear mounts seam to be in pretty good condition and they seem to have faaaar superior shock absorbing rubber. Am I good to use these mounts without the ride adjustment feature? since the KYB's do not have it...

the new one looks to have a stepped inside diameter , the new one may only be compatible with the new shock ? have a good look before fitting ether of them any ways . my guess is the oem one will be softer as thats what jag tends to aim for ,
it doesn't look like you will achieve much by updating them except piece of mind for the future .
