It did, as with JITS, I think you were both off just a screw, or two.

I just did this last week and came away with the same experience as Chris. I did manage to find a few threads & stickies about downloading the files and building your own CD as well as issues with getting it to run properly on Windows. It wasn't a clean search, oh I see here it is so I'll order or download this situation. I found plenty of discussions about this or that copy people had ordered from Ebay that didn't work or they though is was just some general junky service manual and not the authentic thing. So the admonition to just search and everything will be obvious isn't quite fair. But so what. Life is work right? This thread does sort things out a bit. I think what Chris and others might have been worrying about was with the 2004 cut-off in the description were they going to be missing something and if they only "knew" about the right thing to order would they be better off. That's a perfectly natural concern. I hadn't seen anything about Jaguar TIS as opposed to JTIS before and JagV8 mentioned another Jag paid service so I'll have to try searching on those also too.

So it turned out to be a very usefull thread. I didn't think the discussion really got nasty but perhaps a bit grumpy? ;>))

I'll try the approach from joycesjag on removal.

I will say that I've been a Jag owner for almost 10 years. And I spend a lot of time researching the issue myself before posting. I reviewed this site for a few hours but I did find it hard to filter through all the postings. Search phrases, etc are always the key, and not a science as most find out (I'm a software developer).
And I appreciate helpful information as I try to give that myself when I can. I.e I replaced the water pump on my 2000 so I understand what that takes if anyone can benefit from that.

Thanx.
