Like many others I'm not impressed with the "premium" sound in my '03 STR. My biggest complaint is the lack of bass. For a quick 'n easy fix, has anybody tried dropping the factory subs into an enclosure? It's hard to create good bass using free-air subs, especially when the speakers are marginal to begin with, but even crappy subs sound OK when placed in the right sized box. I figure why go through the trouble of adding an amp and subs when they'll just overpower the rest of the system. Thoughts??
