Default Supercharged Green Badge

The 03 STR has a chrome growler badge right under the leaper on the hood, it is actually part of the whole grill set up. I recently saw a cool looking badge- Jaguar Supercharged Emblem | Flickr - Photo Sharing! that would look (in my opinion) way better then the simple chromed growler currently on my STR. I know that that specific part of the grill is curved. The green supercharged badge if im not mistaken is flat, made to be added to the trunk lid or something like that. My concern is that trying to place it in place of the growler on the grill will mean it dosent completely stick flat to the surface. I originally decided against buying this badge but i was wondering if anyone has done this and if anyone knows if perhaps bending the badge a bit in order to curve it would help it follow the curvature of the grill.

I know its a weird question but I only ask because im almost certain i saw a similar setup here in the forum, just cant seem to find the thread or pic i saw that gave me the idea. Any help/opinion is much appreciated. Thank you.

There has to be one that has a curve. Correct me if I am wrong but in the euro market you can't have a hood ornament.

Er, you CAN have a hood ornament. Must meet various laws, basically not to be liable to cause injury...

Here they are prone to being torn off by criminal types.

Ah sorry, I thought because there were more strict laws on hitting pedestrians.

Ingo I believe you are thinking of former STR owner "searanch". He had replaced his leaper with a green supercharged badge, see below:

Well, here you're not meant to hit pedestrians - but I expect that's true most places LOL

Too often they're on the road (carriage way), when the footpath (sidewalk) would be appropriate...
