Default SUSPENSION QUESTION

Hello folks-

I have a quick question about suspension. Does anyone know if the shocks/struts from an S-Type application, 2004, would be interchangeable with the same on a 2004 Lincoln LS. I know they ar etheoretically the same car underneath, so I would assume that they would, but I wasn't sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance, cheers!

Default RE: SUSPENSION QUESTION

They'll fit, but there may be differences in valving. Cross reference part numbers to be sure. Some online retailers you can futz with the drop down menus and find that the part numbers are the same from jobber suppliers.

As for springs, do the same. there may be some poundage rate variation but if the part numbers from jobbers are the same have at 'er.

Brakes certainly are the same. "Parts for a Jag? uhhh...." - "I have those Lincoln pads and rotors in stock sir!"

Sorry to bring this back, but I have a question about the spring. I want to purchase lowering springs for the Jag but the price difference between Jag and Lincoln springs is about $100. Are they interchangeable?
