hey guys
I'm pretty new to the jag scene and this forum. i recently added to the collection (im into American customs) with a car ive always "lusted over" a S Type Jag. Ive loved them since they hit the ground here in Australia and never thought I'd have the opportunity to buy one, but like me Jags get older and recently this little baby turned up so I bought it for my daily driver "street hack"
The car has thrown me off a little, its a "black on black " car 4.0 ltr v8 with "premium sound package ?? " factory black grile and black leather. To me it looks like a sports but i can't find anything that shows the sports as a v8 option in Australia..... HELP!!!!!

So!!!
In the last week ive had abit of a win.
I have traced my car back to the original owner. The car was owned by the owner of Sussans pty ltd 9 a big multi national here in Australia) i spoke to the fleet manager and he filled me in on the history of the car. His boss flew to the jaguar factory (personel jet and all ) with him to choose her new car back in early 1999, she them picked trim package, paint etc. once the car was built to her specs it was shipped to Silverstone jaguar in Melbourne and they delivered the car. The guy was veryhelpfull, he told me "in our archives we will have all the documentation on the car and I would be more than happy to send you a copy of it"
YAY!!!!!!!, so the jags a one off order ( insert smile on my face)

Hey. To answer your questions... I'll tell you what exterior sport packages look like for S-Types. They have their chrome painted the color of the car. The only thing I notice about the outside is your grill, it's done via the sports-style. They also are lacking the leaper emblem and have the growler badge, which yours has. The premium sound I believe is standard when ordering a sports package. I'm sure there's a few other options standard with sport that come as optional upgrades to non-sport packages.

the fleet manager got back to me today, He has found all the documentation for the car and is sending me them via email including the "bill of sale" @ $160000 holy **** i almost fell over!!!!!!

sounds good against the $12000 i paid for it
