Temperamental keyfob?
I haven't done a full search so apologies is this has been answered before, but has anyone else had problems with their keyfob playing up? It's happened a couple of times lately, only at home, and has affected both keyfobs (the one has never been used!) despite replacing the battery. I drive somewhere else (manual locking / unlocking), and it works fine! I don't know how pertinent this is, but my dad has a Ford which has a problem with the keyfob not working at all, and each time the problem has occured, he has been parked by me. With my Merc I can just check the keyfob is working as it's IR, but the Jag is just wireless so I'm lost!
Any thoughts?

Some people have said that the connectors in the fob aren't touching correctly and need to be cleaned/dusted off. My fob was acting crazy a while back and even after I replaced the battery it was still acting up. Then one day like magic it started acting normal again and has been since. I just think it's one of my Jags electrical "gremlins" that show up from time to time.

I took it apart to clean, and it was a little dirty, but nothing terrible. Had a little moisture in too, but again, nothing terrible. Funny thing is that it's only ever played up when parked next to my dad's car, and only since he started having problems with his keyfob, didn't know if it was some kind of interference?
