Default Temperature Control

2003 S Type. Blowing cold air on low, but set on 61 degree blows warm. cleaned sensor no change.all functions working ok. either cold or hot. cannot change tempture. any ideas?

Mine had the same problem. It will only blow cold air when it was set to low. Otherwise, if it were set to 75 (for example) or any other temperature, it would just blow hot air.

I was able to get it fixed with my warranty. The dealer changed the whole climate control module.

Maybe yours might not be the same case. Lets see what others have to say.

Good possibility the Evaporator Temp Sensor is reading way off temperature. That makes the system response completely illogical.
