Is there a supercharger belt change how to? Do you have remove the coolant overflow?
I'm having nothing but bad luck with this squeaking belt situation...First, I buy too many parts with pulleys and brackets I don't need...Next, I can't seem to find the easy change the belt...
When I look at it, on the S/C side it looks like when the S/C tensionor is loosen it will slam into the coolant overflow bottle...Is that the case?
I called a local Jag dealer to ask them how long they'd need it...They replied two hours...I replied two hours to change a belt, do you have to remove the coolant overflow? She said she believed so...
Why are you removing the bolt? The tensioner has a square cut out for a 1/2 drive. Use you breaker bar and back off the spring and then slip the belt off. The belt can be changed without removing anything but it is a tight fit. If you search you can find the step by step instructions.
In fact even the STR super charger belt can be removed this way.

Jag wants 2 hrs. to swap in a s/c belt? Bu*& Sh!#! Done in 15 minutes. Just move coolant expansion tank to side, place wrench on tensioner, pop off existing belt, reverse for new belt. Yes, things are tight in there. I watched a mechanic do it in less than 15 minutes. Something may be up with your pulley install though. Check over your work. I believe there are pulley install threads.

You can change both belts without draining coolant or removing the upper radiator tank. A very experienced Jaguar guy named AVOS has posted a great method. It is a bit of a struggle but a HUGE time saver. Especially if you consider the chance of breaking parts while working on your car!!

I found a tool that helps a lot. It's a KD tool #KDT3684
You can find it on EBay for about $30-$40. It allows you to reach in and grab the belt where your hands will not fit. Here is a picture.

Yes as time goes on it looks like the top tanks on just about all the STR's start leaking. I think it's a weak spot just like the DCCV. Mine was fine until I changed some heater hoses and I guess the flexing from removal and installation was too much. I created a leak and had to replace the top tank.
