Default thinking about 22s

Hey guys,

Being the baller that I am, I am thinking to step up my game. I have 20s right now for rims, but I am thinking to upgrade to 22s [sm=burnout.gif]. I was wondering if anyone has put 22s on their s-type? Also what profile tires should I use. I will roll the fenders if I have to. My friend used photoshop so my car could look like this........ (Not good but just to show youthe rims I am thinking to get)......
The rims I WANT are Verde Black Ice
Current rimsI HAVEDub Dirty Dog 5.

Ihear you bmw. With the economy and currently being in school, I guess I will hold onto my money. But those verde black ice rims are amazing when you see them in close and in person.I saw them on an ebony 2007 BMW 760 Li. Amazing rims in 22s. Some rims look parked, some look cool when they are spinning. These do both.

Hey bmw, how much you selling your 745 for???

Personally, spend the money on a staggered set of forged 19's or 20's.

Remember, your driving a Jaguar not a 82 Caprice Classic.

These are 22's... and hideously tacky.

I don't own a s-type but 22's on that car doesn't seem right at all. I'm one of a very few that think 20's look alright on a x-type but 22's are overkill. Like midga said get some staggered rims that complement the car if you want something different. Otherwise keep what you've got and go buy this tv...that's what my mind is on right now! LOL

I have 20's on my mountaineer and would love 22's but the thought of a stiffer ride with less tire doesn't sit well with me. Mind you with 20's I have a 45 series tire! LOL

Thanks guys. I will keep what I got. Sometimes temptation gets the best of me... similiar to Marcus romancing anything with two legs.

Speaking of TVs..... I have4 flat panelSamsungs in my house. 3 42"tvs and a 32" in my bedroom.

Personally Sony XBR is the best TV money can buy. I know that NFL endorses Samsung as the leader in televisions, but XBRs are sweet. If you can get a 55" Sony BraviaXBR then you have a real TV just in time for the holidays and superbowl coming up.

Being the baller that I am, I might mount a big screen in the trunk of my car
NOPE just kidding now that would be overkill. Imagine telling people "ok you got 30s as shoes, but I got a 55" in the trunk. Whats up?"

LOL!

Actually sammy took it from sony this year.

Actually IMO sammy is the best tv money can buy, sony kind of dropped the ball this year for whatever reason. Sucky part for sony is they have a huge overhead and they cut costs by using the same panel as last year.

The best bang for the buck has been sammy for the last 2 years no matter if your a sony fan or sammy fan. I personally like the samsung panel appearance more than the sony but the pq is the same between them again IMO.

I'm looking between the 6, 7 and 8 series. I want to see the 860 tvs with blue touch of color but nobody has them to view in person. The thing I have to consider is that i can get a 52 650 for around 1900, 400 on ps3 and buy a camera for what the 850 and warranty would cost. But I'm a person that is never happy with my purchases and want to shoot myself after making the splurge. I had a mitsubishi lt52144 but I bought a ps3 and was really not happy with the picture. I took that back and now I'm just laying low til I find the tv I want for the best deal.

The last big electronics purchase I had was my canon digital rebel that was 1200 and 2 weeks later (or less) the new and improved version was released and my camera dropped to 800...i was so po-ed! [:@] Man I talk too much! LOL

BTW I can't say I remember seeing your old rims til I looked at your cardomain. Don't get rid of those rims they are way nicer than the 22's. If your car was black I'd say go for that look but I personally don't like the black rims with colored cars. IMO black wheels only really complement the black color although BRG makes the car look black. Either way though the chrome would look better. If anything get some tint!

Thanks christo and aquill1.

Aquill1 to tell you the truth I like sammys. Sony is my second favorite.

As for the canon camera sorry man.

My last 3 cell phones were purchased for so much, then they would go down in price a month later. It sucks big time.
Digital Cameras/Camcorders and TVs go down in price like within3 weeks of buying.
Do not even get me started with computers. My laptop was purchased for $2100 in November 2006. It is now at Best Buy for$400 as of last week. I am surprised however the same model laptop is on the floor 2 years later.

Oh no big deal! I've used the crap out of the camera! I could probably sell it used for 300 bucks and go buy the newest lower end digital slr they have out and I'd only have to fork over about $450 for it, so I'm content! I have over 60gb worth of photos alone so I'd say it's worth it! LOL 60000mb/1.5mb=40000/$1200=.03 cents per picture/cost of camera per picture taken! Worth it to me!

Here are some pics from the Ft. Worth Alliance Air show. Most pics are with the slr the others are with my canon sd1000, unfortunately I didn't realize I had stuff on my lens til I got home and looked at the pics closer...

Nice looking s-type. Since you whited the side markers out you should keep going and white out all of the chrome molding, especially since you whited out the front grill.

For posting the pics (if your using cardomain) you can click on the picture on your page get it bigger (opens in a separate window) on the bottom of the image is a Permalink that states the permalink(copy this and come back to jagforums.) On this forum look where the for bold for italics and are all the way to the right there is the . Just click that icon and paste the permalink from cardomain. By doing that you get the following result:

Yes..but he has the "Sport" grille. I was asking if he installed the Sport grille on a luxury model..or was it a Sport that had the chrome inserts installed. I'll check out his cardomain too..thanks.
