Unhappy throttle body/plate issue

I cleaned the throttle plate a few days ago and the next morning as I was leaving to work I notice that the car seemed as if some on was steping on the gas when I wasn't. I notice that when it hits 1000 rpm it seems as if some one stepped on the gas, u feel a bit of a pull like like if your at a stop light then you press on the gas start accelerating. I also noticed that when I turned the car on the acc position I hear a chirping sound, sound kind of like crickets. I disconected the throttle position and sensor plugs to check if that was the problem but it still did the same thing but this time the egine light came on and the message center said some stuff that I don't remmeber so took out the key and put it back in and turned it to the acc position and the messages where gone but engine light is still on which will probably go away after driving a few miles. By the way when I cleaned the plate I used my finger gently to flip the plate to get behind it. Could I have damaged some thing? I do recall hearing sort of a snap or a click but didn't think nothing of it at the time. the plate rests at a slight angle. I've almost have had enough with this car an thinking of getting rid of it I didn't know what I was getting my self into when I bough it off my friend.

I took off the air cleaner pipe and noticed that the plate feels like it's vibrating back and forth when I have the key turned to the acc position and the car has a higher rev when I turn the egnition on.

It's a high-precision part. Maybe you disturbed it or left a small dirt particle somewhere.

what do you suggest I do? I cleaned the plate using a bit of seafoam spray and lube. Could this be my problem?

If there's definitely no obstruction I'd try disconnecting the battery, hoping the PCM has something it can relearn. Otherwise I suppose buy a replacement

Possibly got some of the cleaner into the TPS, maybe remove and inspect, dry out if necessary. If you heard a snap or such somehow the TPS had gotten damaged. This came from a newer thread, Thottle Postion Sensor at NAPA:
We do sell it at NAPA's CRB 260019 List is $204.00.

Cross your fingers that the TB is not damaged, BIG bucks.

when ever I turn the the key to the 2nd position I hear a noise coming from the throttle body which sounds like the plate was rattling I took the pipe off of the throttle body and the noise was coming from there. I'm not sure if this is normal as I have not have taken notice to it before. But all I know is that the car doesnt feel like it's accelerating on it's own like I said it was in my last few posts above this one, hope it's a good sign and not one that means the worst is yet to come.
