Default Throttle Body Problem

I posted last month that my son's 05 S-Type 3.0 suffered from the usual limp mode failure. At the suggestion of many here, he replaced the battery. The CEL went off 2 days later so all was good. Until last night. Limp mode again and CEL. Have not had him check codes but it previously threw a P2135 so it looks like we will have to address the throttle body. The car has about 92k on the clock and the choice is to have the dealer install a new one, or have our Indy do a rebuild. Dealer is quoting $1600 and the Indy is $800. DIY is out of the question. Both seem awfully high. Thoughts?

Start by reading codes. Don't assume what they are!
