Time to buy S-Types - prices will be falling ???
Yahoo!
Not sure if I would agree with half of the choices... I guess the guy has no clue on the models he is talking about....
Also own Mercury Mountaineer - sibling of Aviator - in 11 year had no issues with sensors or electronics....

Interesting only insofar as he spends the majority of his rave, trying to convince us of his outstanding auto experience and his remarkabke new scientific, statistical approach. Sounds so familiar, eh Mikey?
In my case ... HE FAILED! He's entitled to his opinions ... but that's all they are... one guy's personal opinions ... and all his dressing up in mumbo-jumbo won't change that.

Things I look at when buying a used car are low miles #1, highest original MSRP #2, and how much it costs out of pocket to own #3. CarFax history, etc. matter of course.
Articles like this totally ignore initial cost of ownership, and only focus on future repair bills.
For instance, the author's highest rated sedan is the Lexus LS. Nice car I guess.
But try buying one, and you need to roll back about 5 model years and accept 70-80K more miles compared to the S-Type.
Which is the better car again?
