Hi
I've been having problems with my new 1999 S-Type whereas the Sat Nav won't pick up a GPS signal. I've managed to access the diagnosis application, gone to the GPS section but it shows that the unit is in Japanese Standard Time and the date is 1991.
I guess I need to reboot the system but it asks for a system CD. Does anyone have one? If I can reset the date then I'm sure it will pick up signals.
I guess the only other option I have would be to strip out the Sat Nav and stereo and install a more modern one but I really like the layout as it is.
Does anyone have a suggestion? Could i strip out the old CD-based unit and replace it with a modern DVD unit and still utilise the head unit in the dash?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
