If it's the same engine as in the S-Type (as I understand it is), you could get the workshop manual - it has all the torques etc. Worst case about $6 from ebay. (It's never too late!)

Ya know the most difficult part about this job was getting all of the wires and hoses etc out of the way just to get to the left valve cover.

Lets just say there were some bad words flying around the garage that day.

One small nut way back behind the motor just had to be facing the firewall.

This is how it sounded a few days prior to parking it.
After opening it up you can see where the chain just started to eat into the engine block. Glad I parked it.

i just replaced my heads and had to take the cams off for a valve job, is there a guide anywhere around on the install i think im doing everything right following the all data instructions but im not sure, i have the motor in tdc and the shafts aligned with the middle timing flats aligned together, im ready to tighten the bolts on the left side but would rather double check than have the timing off, all help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum,

Maybe it would be worth doing a search?

Hopefully you have all the necessary special tools at your disposal to correctly align the camshafts and hold the crankshaft at top dead centre. Do you have the JTIS manual? If not, you should consider getting a copy prior to going any further with the camshaft instalation and valve timing.

I am presently in the assembly phase of timing chain and tensioner replacement. If you need help, send up a flag.
