Trans. Issues

Trans. Issues
When I'm driving and I really get on it from a stop or a slow roll, It seems like the trans hangs in a gear and stays up around 3 grand even after I get off it and it won't shift until the R's drop down to about 2 grand. This is in both sport and standard mode. I'm not sure which gear it hangs in or even if it's the same one every time.
Any Ideas?

1) How many miles are on this car?
2) Is there any extended warrenty on this car?
3) How is the engine performing, is there any alarms?
4) Routine maintenance for oil + filter is at 150K miles.
Note: Poor deliverability of an engine (loss HP), can give a Hydraulic transmission bad symptoms.
If a bad deliverabilty engine isn't fix, can lead to damaging a good Transmission.
I bought cheap Jaguars, because Technicans diagnose as having a bad Transmission, it was just a good throttle body cleaning.

It has about 70,000 mi.
I have an extended warranty. Not Jaguar but it does cover the trans.
It seems to run fine but I hear a buzzing noise and slight vibration at idle.
No codes or alarms.
I did have the torque converter replaced about a year and a half ago.
When I first noticed it months ago I thought I was just hitting the rev. limiter but it feels like it just winds up and can't shift so it stops accelerating until I let off and the r's come back down. It doesn't do it under normal driving but I always felt that it never shifted quite right.
It also goes into drive hard and seems to upshift early and downshift late.
Thanks for responding!

I ran into a woman complaining about her dream car, she bought it used, drove it for a month, and the shop had it for the next four months.
She was covered by insurance and got both a new engine and transmission.
Cool, She was luckey, because her car was plegged with problems.
If Transmission bad, thats what insurance is for!
I'am sorry for the ones, that have to pay out of pocket.
Has this car ever had a good throttle body + MAF sensor cleaning?
A dirty throttle body,or bad MAF sensor dosn't always throw a code!
Wide open throttle, you need lots of Air for the engine to produce 400HP.
If car misfires, stumbles, or slow to react is a symptom during the wide open throttle condition.

That's one pretty ride!
1-can of CRC MAF sensor cleaner,1-can of WD40, and one micro cloth does the job.
It's easier than cleaning wheels.
Found some lost HP on a Mazda Tribute, because of a stickey throttle plate, see
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=949299
The Mazda has a cable Throttle plate, and the Jag has a electronic plate that can get stickey too.
Thanks for feed back, because this forum canbe tough!
I wonder were all the used cleaned throttle bodies came from on EBAY?
Customer gets a new one for $2K, clean the other, and sell on EBAY!
It works with COP's and injectors too!
