Default Transmission Lurching

I found this on the xk8 section. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...40/#post422934 It is about transmission lurching and thought it might apply to the S-Type.

Fault was apparently a valve body with a hairline crack? Could apply to any trans, I suppose. Doesn't seem to be common for the S-Type (I don't recall any!).

The XK8 trans mentioned - 5HP24? (Not our 6HP26, at least.)

I don't see that's relevant - it wasn't a bad valve and also it was a different ZF box. Mostly with software problems now long ago fixed.

Sorry thought it was still an issue that programing did not fix.
