Question transmission slip

i dont know if anyone has this problem but my tranny on my o6 3.0 seems to be slipping. i did the tcm reflash air filter fuel filter cleaned throttle body and fuel injectors and checked tranny fluid level which was good. problem is when i mash the gas the engine just revs in high rpms the the tranny just kiks in like 3 seconds later it is like the engine and tranny arent working together there is power to the engine when i hit the gas there is power to the engine it revs high but the car doesnt engage rightaway im thinking torque converter any insight would be appreaited

It could be seals or transmission bands as well. Whatever the cause, I would have a technician look at it before you do hard part damage. Since your car is an '06 it's likely still under warranty (hopefully).

The good old boy mechanics all say the same about autoboxes when there's a problem.
Have you changed the ATF fluid? If your motor's done a fair old mileage, this is more likely to be the cause than any other. Also low fluid level can be a cause. I know this is a pig of a job to do when there's no dipstick, even to check the level which HAS to be fairly close to spec. to work properly. (How did U check the level?) But sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do...
I'd drive it VERY carefully until sorted.
Leedsman.

What did you find to be the problem...was it the ATF fluid, and did you change it?
