Default Tray style floor mats

Does anyone know where to purchase tray style floor mats for Jag's? I'm talking about the style that have a lip all around the edge and custom fit into the foot well area. I don't like the standard mats you can purchase because water just tends to roll off the edge. The style I'm after, actually hold the water like being in a pan.

Any ideas where I could get these?

Thanks in advance!
Rob

The WeatherTech Digital Fit is what i'm after, but I don't see if they make them for my S-type. I'll have to give them a call to see if they do.

In the interim, I found at Canadian Tire that they sell a 3'x6' roll of utlitiy floor matting material. I placed my Jags floor mats on top of this sheet, outlined them with white crayon and cut out my own custom winter mats. The backing is water resistant and it looks like I'll be able to simply throw the mats in the wash when they get dirty. Although there was enough left over to partially cover my trunk floor, I'll think I'll go back and pick up another roll to custom cut a trunk floor mat as well. At $19.99 a roll, that's not too bad!

Thanks guys!

Rob

Hi Rob,
Do you have picture of the mats you made? I'm thinking to replace the original mats as they're worn down quite a bit.
Thanks,

When I shopped for winter rubber mats to fit my 06, I found that Weather Tech did not make custom fits for the S-Type.

I bought Lloyds rubber mats from AutoAnything(.com). No tray edges but the dimpled/waffle surface traps everything wet. And the exact fit is, well, exactly exact. Good choice of colors as well. I use them all through the wet season (Pacific NW has a long one) and put the Jaguar carpet mats in for the dry summer/fall.

ndy4eva - I unfortunately threw the mats I made out. I was hoping they would be a bit more water resistant than they were. Too much water made it's way through the mats and onto the carpeting. I wound up buying a set of mats from Canadian Tire. They seem to fit ok, but not quite what I was after. I sure wish WeatherTech made the tray style mats for our S types. Oh well.

I see. I got a quote from Dan @ Nalley Jaguar. It's under $60, so I will just order one set from him.

What's under 60? The foul weather mats? Or the replacement fabric mats?

Let me know,

George

Hi George,
Yes, full set of original replacement S-Type mats for $57.40 including shipping. Not bad, eh? They don't ship to Canada. So I have to ship it to Blaine, WA and pick them up when I head down.

Nalley Jaguar. They're one of the sponsor of JaguarForums.com.
I paid just under $61 shipped. $57 was March/April special price that I missed by couple of days. But still it's not a bad price.
