Default trunk release buttons stopped working

2005 S-type. Trunk only opens from remote fob. Neither the dashboard button nor the trunk lid lip button will open the trunk. Is there a fuse for this ?

Check the valet button in the glove box.

Sorry to grab thread but my switch is working when I click it, you hear the mechanism trying to activate to open the trunk lid. My issue is sometimes it is just not opening. Just grease that area? Or is there something else needed? Thanks

I suppose some of the things that can be awkward are: the switch (fix / grease a little), the rubber seal sticking (apply suitable non-stick stuff), the springs not as strong as they were (re-tension).
