Mine turns off compleatly with one quick press of the button!
And is defiantly off off! It will ruin a tire in no time generally one at a time
Though ! Some times it will do both heal n toeing! And will pull to rev limiter
In 2nd on cheep hankooks wilst still practically parked !
Not so mutch on sticky bridgestones!
It twists the front of the car up and goes .
It's defiantly quicker and safer in the wet with dsc on
I recon .

DSC OFF
The owner's manual on the 2014 XF 3.0 AWD (or 2WD) has a section for disabling DSC.
Hold the DSC button down for 1-2 seconds and the dash illuminates that DSC is 'turned off' however as previously posted it will still limit power and enforce braking
Instead, Hold the DSC button down for 10-12 seconds and a chime will sound, as well as the DSC 'off' illuminated graphic on the display panel.
Enjoy what feels like no electronic limitations on power distribution or braking application.

>my car smokes tires in 1st
Same here, on the autocross course. Car's over-steering while I'm focusing on the cone just in front
Just show'n off, that's all
================================================== ===========
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, and
Torque is how far you take the wall with you
