Default Upgraded to Sport Suspension 18" Wheels

This weekend I upgraded my suspension on my 2005 S-type base model 4.2.

Bilstein B4 Sport Shocks OE replacements, H&R Sport Springs, 18" rims off of a 2010 XF, Bridgestone Tires size 245/40 R18 .

So far it drives like a charm. No rubbing and not too hard. Stable around corners.

Yes my rear shocks were blown and my 17" tires needed replacements. I figure I might as well upgrade the performance and change the look a little bit.

>18" rims off of a 2010 XF

Anybody got a suggestion about where I could source a set of those wheels.

My 18" Vulcans are bent and the chrome is flaking off... :-(

I got mine from a Craigslist deal. $300 for the set. The owner of the XF upgraded to 22" rims. You can find some good deals on Ebay as well.

Ya, thanks, watching there, but they all seem to be ~$250/wheel plus shipping.

I just kept an eye out for good deals on Craigslist. Once in a while you find someone up grading their car and just want to get rid of their stock wheels.

Does anyone know if there is a way to tell if these wheels would fit our cars?

2007 Jaguar XJ8 Aluminum Alloy Wheel, Rim 18x8 - 59801

The width (8") , bolt pattern (
5x108), and offset (49mm) seem to be right?

They appear to be readily available, unlike 18" S-Type wheels or 18" XF wheels.

They will fit. Bolt pattern is correct, off set is between 40-50, 18×8 is ideal for s-type as long as you put 245/40 R18 tires on them. See this link http://www.wheelfitment.net/jaguar.

What are the offsets for the STR. The rear wheels on those are wider so I suspect you can't re wheel it with 18x245x40 all round?

offset relates to wheel width, so use an 'offset calculator' to compare fitment between different width wheels...

With that said, stock STR rear wheels are ET +60...
