Default Urgent: Need Help With Thermostat Housing

Working on replacing my bad thermostat housing. After taking the housing off that was cracked at the top, I found that the plastic on the inlet tube is bad. I was able to get the front two screws out on the base of the inlet tube but the back two are giving me a hard time. Any advice on getting the back two out?

Just in case, I have a 2003 4.2 NA.

Thanks for any advice.

I will also try to get a picture tomorrow. The car is in the garage and I am toast for the night.

You will need a 8mm crow wrench or a 8mm - flex head self ratcheting wrench to get these bolts out. They are cumbersome to get out w/o these tool suggestions.

Default I removed the intake

And replaced the intake gaskets at the same time!

I finally go this fixed. What a pain... Long story.... Luckily I had some help.

If any one is interested, I was sold the wrong part the first time (go figure) and I am looking to sell it. Since I tried to install it, (I just tuck out the box) I was given my money back and was told to keep it. I was totally shocked. Bottom line, I have a brand new thermostat housing and gasket, NCE 2247AD Kit, brand new for sale. It fits the 4.0 2000-2002. I will post it in the correct place with pricing and info.
