trunk seals????? so i should just silicone it all the way around?

I cannot make that recommendation just yet. I will look at it and give you a recommendation then however, the car is going into the paint shop to get the passenger side clear coat reinstalled. What is it with the paint on these cars? Well I will let you know when I get it back.

Another possible cause for water in the trunk would be damaged roof drains. The rear drains come down through the C pillars and then down through the trunk. They can be seen by looking at the forward corners of the trunk.....clear 1/4" (roughly) tubing.

I discovered another source of water in the trunk of my 06. In a windy, driving rainstorm I was getting a small puddle in the spare tire well just in front of the spare. I found its source by accident. Had to take the liscence plate off to put a new state sticker on it, and, found that one of the nylon blocks that the plate screws go into had broken, and, had cracked wide open on one side. Its right above where I've been finding the little puddles.
