Hello,
I have my jaguar s-type 2.5 V6 2003 i have problems with coolant and after i have change cap and thermostat that have some problems, when i drive for 10 minutes and when the temperature going 90 grade the water was lost from cap. i cant understand what is this problem and what we need to change for fix this problem.

Frequently mistaken for a cap leak is a crack on the bottom of the nipple coming off the cap neck. Fix is a replacement reservoir. Not sure about the 2.5L as we don't have that model in the states, but from the books, it seems a very similar powerplant to the 3.0L, so would imagine the coolant tank is the same.
If this is not your problem, just stand by....you will eventually be replacing the reservoir because it leaks from somewhere.
