Water on the roof under the headliner

today I went around a corner and got a drip of water onto the gear lever . I searched and found it came from the little vent in the roof console. I removed it and found water on the roof between the roof and head liner . Since the summer my head liner has been sagging but just thought it was just the age . I think this could be the reason but my question is where could it be from ? Could it be a build up of condensation or a leak . It was all sitting on the interior of the roof rather than the head liner . The other thing is it doesn't have a sun roof .

not in my ownership but before that I don't know . I have for the last month been using a frost cover that traps in the doors and has rained whilst it's been on a few times . But unsure if that would be a culprit

It is possible that the water is from a leak in the roof, especially if there is no sunroof. It could also be condensation from the air inside the car, which is normal in hot weather. However, it is difficult to determine the exact source of the water without additional inspection. If you are concerned about the source of the water and the condition of your headliner, it is best to contact a professional for a thorough inspection. A professional roofing company like South Dublin Flat Roofing can help you identify the source of the leak and provide you with the necessary repairs to get your roof back in working order.
