WDS Question

Actually two questions:
1. Can anyone tell me the pinout for the dc power power cable (a-204) for the wds. I think it is the 3 pin square one. I need to fabricate a cable and dont want to trash the unit by mis-wiring it.
2. Does anyone have a cable to connect the wds to a 2003 Jaguar S type.
Thanks in advance.

Steadicam
The 'A-204' Connector 10 pin layout is as follows:
BACK
X-
XX
-+
-+
-+
FRONT
X = no connection
- = negative
+ = positive
I have attached a pic of the top of the PTU with the 'A' connector.
There is a WDS A-204 cable on eBay now.
Ford Rotunda WDS 418-F232 adapter cable A-204 DC supply | eBay
The OBDII cable needed for Jaguar is the B-203
I have a B-280 cable that will not communicate so it might be for Mazda or some Ford Truck.
Contact me if you have anymore questions.

Bob, If you have occasion to have the Ford software loaded up and want to check out the B-280 cable, I could bring either/both of my trucks round to see if it communicates. Just holler...

I had a buddy that needed to configure a climate control panel to a 2005 Ford sedan (Town Car ??) and he asked to use my WDS. The B203 would Not communicate so I pulled out the B280 cable and told him to try it (it worked). The cables are different but I don't know the specifics. I don't have a B259 so I can't comment.
The Jaguars only used the B203 but I had the B280 because I bought a Ford WDS and it came with it. I loaded the Jag software on a different HDD.
I don't know what the Aston Martin uses as I have never had one to try the WDS to communicate with.
Anyone use the WDS for AM????

Hello all
I need the Aston Martin diagnose software that works with the IDS/SDD.
I am trying to recalibrate my 2002 Vanquish ASM unit .
I tried at the dealer , but they really did a very bad job and did more harm than good.
my problem : the car goes into R , N , 1 , 2 Gears , but when i go 3rd , it just rolls into N again.
I do have the IDS / SDD system , and as i understood that the AM software would work perfectly with the hardware , all what is needed is the software to be added.
any help is mostly appreciated
regards to all and thanks in advance.
