Weird - and different - AC problem: Rear Vent
After searching through multiple threads on the dreaded DCCV problems these models have, I may have come up with the most uncommon one:
No air whatsoever from rear console vents - regardless of settings on the control panel. Miraculously, everything else works. I get cold air on both front vents. Air properly routes per setting (defrost, foot, and dash) as selected. To me, this indicates that the DCCV and control panel are working (if it ain't broke, don't fix it....), so I'd hate to tear things apart - especially if there's just something I'm missing.
Any ideas?

Console has never been removed. The only thing "done" was replacement of that single cup holder (ratty, sticky, who knows what was spilled in it... with a woodgrain one) a few months back. I rarely transport rear seat passengers, so this was the first report I received - and verified.
I'll remove it (pries up with a flat-blade screwdriver). Does that duct route directly below it, exposed?

I only saw it when I installed the ACM because the plugs and wires for that are run into the center console with the flip lid. I don't think you can see the duct until the plastic cover of the console is removed.
I would check that it's hooked up and then I would run the car with the blower on high to see if the air flow problem is somewhere besides the center console. Before I put the center console back together.
With zero flow it sure sounds like something is unhooked.
