Default What Fuel Trims Really Mean

Having recently had a bad misfire I have been reading many posts about misfires and possible causes. In many of these threads I have seen people referencing fuel trims but have never had much of an understanding as to what that means. In widening my search I found this page on the interweb thingy: What are fuel trims all about? It all makes sense to me now Hopefully it will help others to make good use of the info that even the cheapest OBD2 readers give us.

Hi Norri, my searching did not lead me to that very interesting thread. I have read it now, hopefully the information will help me find my incredibly rare (once every 500-1000 miles) misfire.
