Mine are at least 5 years old and have been sitting for 4 years so I'd bet they're flat spotted and need replacing. The car came and has a now obsolete style of Conti all seasons.

i live in a fairly dry area of ca so no snow to deal with. I have been very happy with the bf goodrich top of the line tire. Handles the heat well and nice wet traction too. Never have any heat cracks at all. On my second set now

I’d highly suggest some Michelin Pilot Sport 4S’s if you live in a warmer climate.

If you live someplace where you also need a second set of tires in the winter, I’d suggest some Michelin X Ice Snow Winter tires as a second set for the snow & ice. Just ultimately depends on what you’d like.

There’s also a nice Michelin Pilot Sport All season 4 for most climates, but wouldn’t recommend them in really snowy & icy conditions. They’ll do just fine for your typical winter stuff though.

Spring, summer and fall duty only. But I think something that's all season and good in the rain.

Then the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4’s are what I’d suggest. Below is a link for the factory sizes through tire rack. Could get a couple quotes and shop around to get the best price, then if you have a discount tire I’d go there and have them install them.

Had these on several vehicles and they’re quite good tires.

Michelin PS5's have been out for a while. I can recommend the regular PS4 on the. STR on 18" & the 5 is reviewed as a little better. They wear well too.
EDIT:- They handle the English weather just fine, wet or dry.

PS4's also wear very well. Compare the wear rates.
