What is the recommended tire pressure for a 2003 S Type?
#21
I usually have 36-38 # in front and 34-35# in the rear. I live in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains. Going south--downhill-- and getting lucky at getting green signal lights, I can coast for at least a mile or more.
Going back uphill, I find with slightly higher tire pressures, that the car doesn't work as hard leaving stop/signal lights.

Tire pressure
brilliant engineers spent lots of time and attention formulating just the right tire pressure for maximum performance and comfort. I’m using the Manufactures recommended tire pressure.

The air pressure depends on what you want. For cushy ride 26-28 front, 28-30 rear. Medium stiffness 32 front 34 rear, this is what I usually use. For stiffer ride so tires don't roll over when cornering hard 36-38 front and 38-40 rear. These figures are in pounds. I read this in one of the guides. If you have a packed car don't use the lowest pressures, of course.

Different driver side
the manual is written for a British car. Our passenger side is the driver side. So wherever the manual says driver side you need to look on the passenger side.
