Default What are these called?

Hey folks YES I've looked in the JTIS and searched here and tried an internet search with no luck.

I am looking for the little plastic screws, tabs, clips (not sure what they are called)that holds down the radiator cover and air intake.

Two are missing and the two that are on are broken.

I believe Bonnet "Fasteners" - download S Type Parts listing for exact part number.

I couldn't find it in the parts manual because they don't show it but I found it on another site, Gaudin Jaguar. Its called the "Sight shield clip" FYI the part circled on the downloaded parts catalog is not the clip but the number 9 as a part reference. On the Gaudin site it shows the clip.

I simply took one into my Jag dealer parts guy and he knew exactly what they were, and sold me fresh replacements. They were cheap, so I bought a few extra planning for the future.

It's in JEPC under exterior fittings and sunroof/body trim and fixtures/engine compartment covers/item 4

They are also used on the Lincoln LS so any Ford dealer will have them in stock.

Sorry I did not post the part number. I have several times but can't find it right now.

Just bring in the old one and they should have no trouble finding them. If they need to look it up the LS uses them to hold down the same radiator shield as the S Type does.

Call the dealer, they might ship it to you, few extra bucks on shipping, much less then you will spend on gas.

I'm just going to stop at the Jag dealer on my way to work. Its just a few miles out of the way. On the Gaudin site the shipping is $14.00!! Thats almost double what the clips cost. lol

I found them on the internet at Northland Fasteners. The ones you want are Part Number N 20518 for the radiator cover. You may as well pick up some N 20233 for the cowl scuttle while you are there. They charged me $6.75 for shipping, which beats running all over town trying to find these things. Good luck!
