Why only 1, 3 and 5? Might as well do all of them at the same time. It might prove to be detremental to your engine to only do half of it!

Well since you're doing it...why do it half a$$??
Anway, as far i know, just the gaskets (which can be re-used if careful) should be all unless something breaks...like the rubber lines or wires which tend to get brittle with age...

As for avoiding any future problems, that's a tough one...my advise is to avoid any and all trees that seem to pop up along the road.

Will let you guys know how it runs. Just waiting on the parts to come in Tue. or Wed. Trying to do a lot of littleprojects, need to get one done. May get the lights done today maybe, if I can know what the best way to get the bulb out. One thing is for sure working on these cars is as bad as working on my 93 supercharged builtLt4Vett. The Jag is all new to me but I learn fast for my age. I can say one thing I really like this S type Jaguar. It has a lot of class.
Regards
