Default Wheel offset

I'm getting ready to put new shoes. What is the stock offset for type R. I read front et60 and back et60 and front et40 back et42. Anyone know what is the true offset and center bore?

I'm going with front 19x8.5 et 35 and back 19x10 et 40.

Fronts probably won't clear the brakes. The rears will likely have the tires rub the fenders over bumps and hard corners. You need something with an offset of at least 45.

Stock STR wheels are ET60 front and rear...

19x8.5 ET35 front, and 19x10 et40 will poke out a decent amount past the fender...

Then you factor in size of the R brakes, might require you putting on spacers to clear, further pushing the offset out to the point it may be unacceptable.

I should clear the brakes with no issues since is a lower offset but dam the back is going to be close because is going to stick out an inch more than stock and the stock setup is pretty close to the edge. Thanks for the feedback time to make some measurements

The low offset in the front won't necessarily help brake clearance. The wheel spokes will just have more angle on them and will still likely rub the calipers.

I don't remember the exact offsets, maybe GT42R can since he has the same wheels. They were custom made by Forgestar and the offset isn't stamped on the inside. I believe the rears are 46 and the fronts are 55.

Forgestars are built to approx. +50 front and rear... they don't like to release their exact offset specs, but I suppose I could measure... it's around for what its worth.

If you want good looking aftermarket wheels to fit, you'll have to go the custom-ordered route, which forgestar can certainly help with.

Stock wheels are pretty good looking too, I think they suit these cars really well. Many STR owners opt to just powdercoat their stock rollers black or a dark color... between that and some lowering springs, should really put the look together for you...
