Default wheel studs move slightly when wheel off

hi all , I really appreciate any help here. with the front wheel removed, the wheel studs individually are all solid and sound with no movement and are not loose at all but they will all move together back and forth slightly when rotated within the confines of the stud holes if you hold them and rotate them slightly against the disk . Is this normal.

Are you sure it's not just a loose disc, which hasn't got the retaining washers on the studs holding it tight against the hub? If this is the case, it isn't anything to be concerned about as the disc will pull tight once the wheel is fitted. Some cars have them, some don't.

+1

Item 6 - often omitted as the wheel nuts hold the disc securely in place.
