All S Types have the same bolt circle and will take the same offset, so it is safe to say that all years have interchangeable wheels... Just remember that if you get an R that the minimum wheel diameter is a 18". Anything smaller will not fit with the R brakes. S Types came with factory installed rims starting at 16" all the way to 19" setups on the R. BTW, as seen in this closeup, the wheels you pictured are 17" not 18". They are the standard rim for 2006 and 2007 for sure, and I think in 2008 as well.

what does supercharged mean ?
a super charger is a belt driven inlet air compressor. it compresses the air flowing into the motor making it smaller > allowing more air to enter the chamber.
more air + more fuel = harder combustion, which equals more power.
difference between models ? not sure but suspension id assume, ecu's and an assortment of other items as well.
for the wheels they are saying that the ones pictured may not fit an s-type R due to the R's bigger brake package.
