Will dealer know if i flash the ECU from Eurotoys?
I am very, very tempted to buy a pulley kit and ECU tune from Eurotoys. Spoke to a buddy of mine that used to have this package and he said it bumped it up 330rwhp to 365. I just don't want to void my warranty. I am sure if they knew that it had those mods they would not cover it. Any thoughts?

My 03 STR has a full exhaust mod, Mina Gallery 1.5 pulley, and I'm also considering a EuroToys ECU rermap. It's Eurotech that produced a document (on its website) that an STR can produce 440 hp and 488 lb/ft torque with its Stage I Kit (1.5 pulley and ECU tune). I'd advize you to perform a full exhaust mod (hi-flow cats, x-pipe, 2 1/2" pipe, delete stock resonator, leading to flowthrough mufflers) before or shortly after an ECU tune. What year is your STR as to it being still under Jaguar's warranty? If you bring her to Jaguar for an issue, a Jaguar reflash will erase the $995 EuroToys ECU tune. Let us know what you decide to do or how it went.

Wait till your warranty is up. I know it's tough driving these lead sleds around and getting your **** kicked non-stop all day long by every Prius on the road but do you really want to void your warranty?

Deleteing the stock responator and switching to an aftermarket axle back lower restriction system will provide "some" benefit. The sound level will go from the muted stock sound to a more aggressive tone. The tightest and more significant bottlenecks are the stock cats and rear mufflers. 08ZO6, you'll be very surprised of the value hi-flow cats, x-pipe, 2 1/2" pipe leading to flow-through mufflers will lend to a 1.5 pulley and ECU tune...maybe an additional 25+ hp and trq.? Remember...without a full exhaust mod a smaller pulley and ECU will be pushing more air into the same volumn of its escape passage. On an air pump, an exhaust mod serves as the foundation, thus precedes most other mods. A full exhaust mod on an already blown engine will outperform a stand alone pulley swap, not the other way around.

Riki, "nutswinging"? LOL! It's been a little over two weeks since the full exhaust mod and I still get a "twinge" in the crotch anytime I start her up or burp the pedal. The note and power is freakin intoxicating. The 1.5 pulley went on Thursday and even with a severely slipping blower belt "it" went to an even higher level. A new blower belt goes on Thursday which keeps me from not thinking about what to expect. I think I may need help.

Riski, you never know? re: NO2. I sheeped out from a 2003-4 MB AMG 55 Kompressor challenge. As I stayed put, I watched that monster (stock: 470 hp @ 515 lb/ft trq) just launch and seem to get to the other side of 0-60 in the blink of an eye. May need NO2 and LSD. Do you feel you can roast a stock MB AMG Kompressor? Let me mull it over dude...i'm tempted. The new blower belt goes on Thursday. Let me see how she runs, I may have an ECU tune, etc. NO2 may be the "coupe de gra" to the list of my mods....
