Window regulators??

Window regulators??
I need two regulators. One for the front pass side, and one for the rear pass side. Is it possible to use regulators off of a Lincoln LS? I know they cost less and I'm trying to save $$$. I have a 2000 S-type V8. Plus, where can I get some quality at a fair price? Please help.[&:]

When you hit the window switch, do you hear the cables grinding? If so, you only need regulator without motor. I don't think they are that expensive anymore. Transfer motor over from old to new. Be careful with the rear regulator. You got to punch that pin thru the glass. Don't miss.
Dont know about the lincoln being the same. Chassis is the same in the lincoln, but body is different. Get the warez number from the jag one in your car and go to lincoln dealer and see if number is the same.

Driver side window regulator was broken. Went to Ford dealership and got a new regulator for $159.00 plus tax. Went back home and installed it in less than 20 minutes. For the back window regulator, you're on your own on that one. I haven't had a broken one in the back yet (knock on wood). If you want to find a cheaper regulator I have a site where you could get a driver side regulator for $89.95 + shipping costs. Just let me know.
Btw...LS front's are compatible with the S-type, the back's aren't. For my 00 S-type I got a 02 Lincoln regulator and it fit like a charm, good luck, hope this helps.
