Window Switch Question

UPDATE: 2000 S type 4.0 window switches.
Windows switches, passenger and back seat started working again and then stopped. Must be a loose connection somewhere. I can hear a click under the driver side dash when the button works and no sound when it doesn't.
I can't figure out from the manual where the connection is? In the drivers panel or under the dash or where.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

THE PLOT THICKENS:
After looking at the schematics in the manual, it appears there is some kind of controller in the middle of the dash behind EVERYTHING. Two wiring harness components have plugs just to the left of the glove box. I wiggled the first one with black plug and the three single window switches started working. There is also a green plug next to it. I wiggled that and the window switches didn't change, so It is narrowed down.
It must be a loose connection so I am going to unplug it, clean the plug, and put electrical grease on it and see if that solves it for good.

Wires tend to break at the driver's door-to-body pass-thru, but generally result in NONE of the switches working. Still, you may want to study the diagram, I have a vague recollection that any window down/up signal has to first report to the driver door module before anything can happen... but that may be in err....

I think you are right. This plug was coming out of a controller in the middle of the dash. When you raise/lower any window, there is a click at the middle, so this plug could have been kicked by a passenger or just wiggled a bit loose. I hope this is the answer, but if a wire is broken, I'll have to sell the car.

The single switches quit again....looks like a 3 six pack project. I guess the door panel may have to come off. I read the no Bueno thread. Some folks are really smart on this forum.

I see you don't let the tires get worn much before you sell them. lol
I don't smoke and no one ever has in the car I have now. Ashtrays are full of teen beauty products like pins, lipstick, chapstick, nail polish...you get the idea.
