Default Worth it?

Someone near me is selling a 2003 S-type R for $18,500 OBO. It has 82,000 miles. Should I jump on it?

Seems a novel way to reduce the asking price

Seriously though it seems reasonable, but then it all depends on condition.

This is what you can get it for with this much miles. you can bargain some more depending on the condition!

When I was looking for my S Type R, I was trying to find something around 50k miles, which is not that hard to find

Here is Ebay link just FYI.

Thanks for the help. The seller said that the dealer would give him $15,000 so I think he would go down a little bit

The milage is a bit high for an 03. If I were you I wouldn't spend a dime more than 16. But that depends on the condition.

If condition is immaculate, go with it at that price. If it has it's few nips here and there, I'd take it down a bit. I think 18,5 is a great price for an STR, but then again I don't know what exactly they are going for.

I found a 2002 V8 S-type Sport for $19,800. It has 56,000 miles. The price seems kind of high but what do you guys think?

I'd say you're crazy and turn around and never look back, not even for one second.
