Wow... I guess we Jaguar owners are really Snobby as*holes?
I'm driving and I see another s-type pull up beside me so I'm like oh, cool.
I pull down my side mirror and I see some young maybe 21-26 year old male with all this expensive looking stuff. what appeared to be one of those mink jackets, a gold ring, and what looked like a rolex watch with a cigar in his mouth puffing away. scarface wannabe?
I try to say 'nice car' to him and he doesn't even turn to look at me, so im like 'oh he probably didn't hear me', i say hey man nice car again, this time he looks over with an as*hole type look, completely ignores me and just leaves when the light turns green.
wow. ironic thing is he had classical music like mozart or something playing, thought it would be some gangster crap. is this what we really are?

Its exactly opposite for me. Im the one trying to spot other nice cars and give credit and compliments, but when i roll down my window and they see a 26Yr old driving a STR they automatically think, rich little a**hole. and drive off.or they give me a ****ty smirk. sorry i was missing parties in highschool and didnt have the usual college experience because i was working my *** off to get where i am now but c'mon dude dont be dick to me just because you blossomed later in life than I did.

I'm the obnoxious *****....But then again I'm flying by everone so fast that they don't get the chance to see who's driving..... Unless you work for the Cuyahoga Falls PD......
Actually, living in Ohio I hardly see anyone else in a Jag. I have had people comment on the car though and make sure I go out of my way to be nice and talk to them..Now my little one, Arianna, is another story..... Dropped her off at a birthday party once and what does she do? Goes to her freind..."Hey look! Like our Jaaaaaag." That was a fun conversation with her latter that night....

Not long after I got married more than 30 years ago, I was driving home from the office in my Datsun 260Z. Some punk in a Mustang ran a stop sign off a side street and pulled out in front of me forcing me to stand on the brakes to keep from running into him. My window was down so I yelled at him (probably something like "PAY ATTENTION, JACKASS!"). He started driving very slowly, intentionally blocking my path, and even got his girlfriend to steer the car so he could lean out his window and give me the finger with both hands. I calmly put my left hand out the window and pointed to the curb and mouthed the words "pull over, buddy". At the next intersection, he pulled into the gas station. I followed. While I was still unbuckling my seat belt he came running up, reached through my open window, grabbed my necktie, and started yanking on it. I shoved my door open, the force of the door throwing him to the pavement. When I stepped out of my car, he came running at me while screaming his head off. I'm 6-foot-7 and about 250 pounds, this guy was about 5-foot-4 and maybe 130 pounds. I couldn't believe it. But he had a wild look in his eyes and was screaming like an Indian warrior so I figured he was serious. When he got to within arms-length of me, I hit him right in the nose and both felt and heard his nose cave into his sinus cavity. He dropped to the pavement, his nose gushing blood like a fire hydrant, and his girlfriend came running up yelling "Morris, why don't you ever learn? You're always getting your *** beat!" While she bent over him with a beach towel I checked my white dress shirt for any signs of blood, straightened my tie, walked back to my Z-car, got in, and pulled back into traffic. I looked back in my rear-view mirror and while the guy was bent over still gushing blood onto the parking lot, she was chewing him out at the top of her lungs....
When I got home my wife asked "How was your day?" as usual. And as usual I just said "Fine." I didn't tell her what had happened for at least several days....
Try that these days, however, and you'll get shot in a heartbeat....

Amazing story, I wonder what Morris is doing right now at this exact moment. You are completely right about getting a weapon pulled on you, especially if you are bigger than the other guy. That is the ONLY reason why I show restraint these days. I keep a Tac knife in my console just in case, if I didnt live in the country's most liberal state it would be a Glock 9.
