ZF 6HP26 Transmission max torque
Anyone know what it might be?
I know the Bentley Supersports has the transmission and is pushing 590 ftlbs so it is capable, but I am sure that Bentley has altered the parts inside a bit. AVOS is pushing I think around 500ish hp to the ground (not sure on torque), so it appears these can handle some power, but I wanted to see if anyone had any definitive figures.

at 3500 rpm it gives the most torque (original setup) but if you keep the same torque at higher rpm's the kitty will make you happier

No but what I am thinking is that when you are modding the engine, you will exceed the torque input amount. Let's say that you increase the engine's torque by 10%. That right there is over the max amount specified by the engineers. I just don't want to have to replace a transmission
As I recall, avos mentioned that the 600hp car does break the trans from time to time. Comes with the territory...

Here's a wrinkle for ya!
2012 XKR-S
• A new addition to the XK model line, the XKR‐S sits atop the range as the fastest and most powerful series‐production Jaguar ever
• 550 horsepower
• 502 pound‐feet of torque
• 186 mph top speed
• 0‐60 mph in 4.2 seconds
• Low volume: approximately 100 per year for the US market
• Unique appearance with carbon fiber splitter and spoiler
I'll have to investigate this at some point, when I have time. Five hundred two pound feet.........that's 680 Nm! That's what you call a ponderable.
Cheers,
2012 XKR-S

The XKR-S is the most extreme example yet, it's an upgrade (S model) to an upgrade (R model)...99.99% who see the thing won't know the difference between the R-S, a R and a regular model ($53K less)...At the track a car new from the factory can beat it that's $100K less...In my useless opinion (because I won't ever buy one) they should of make an entirely different car vs an upgrade to an upgrade...
