Hello from Baltimore!
Hi everyone!
I posted a few times here years back (actually the first time I ever drove a Jaguar), and now that I finally got to a point in life where I've bought one, I figured it's time to actually be active and introduce myself.
I work on bicycles as my current job, am in college for Physical Sciences(think Engineering+Physics+Compsci), and any other time, try to be as hands-on as possible, whether it's working on a car, electronics, whatever.
I've driven an '00 Eclipse GT for the past three and a half years. It was my first car. Not a bad start, but I realized it's just not what I wanted as a daily driver, as well as being too small for me to sit up straight, and too loud on the highway.
Yesterday I took delivery of a 99 XJR mechanic special with 98k mi, complete with the tensioner rattle, some kind of battery drain, and who knows what else. Completely rust free, could use a repaint though. I'm sure I'll be posting a lot about it once the semester is over and i have time to dig through and see what other scary expensive issues await...
There it is! See you on the x308 forums!
