Thumbs up Hey Guys- New here, check out my 2012 XFR

Hello all! I recently purchased my new (to me) 2012 Jaguar XFR last month. I came from a 2008 Infiniti G37 coupe and have always loved how these cars looked. I have been wanting and lusting after one for the past few years and I'm ecstatic to say that I'm finally a Jaguar owner. I can honestly say I love how all Jaguars look, the entire lineup is drop-dead gorgeous. My dream car is the F-Type. One day I will live that dream but until then...I'm lovin' my XFR!

Thanks and nice! Two awesome cars you have there. Yeah I initially wanted white, but for some reason I was drawn to the silver. It also has red leather inside which I like also.

Thanks!! I'm from Plano actually. I lived there for 20 years and just recently moved to Houston. Thinking about whether to mod or not, not looking to do too much but I am looking into the Mina exhaust right now.

The Mina or the X-pipe and valve removal I did are the popular choices for exhaust. When you get used to the power or when your warranty runs out (depending on your view on that), get a tune. Best mod by far!

Where would you recommend I get the Mina exhaust from with the best price? I am still getting used to the power haha, it sure is quick in stock form already. But yes once I'm used to it I'm sure I will want more. My factory warranty ran out, but I will look into the tune!

Mina Gallery is the only place for new. Call Chris and let him know you're a forum member for a discount. BiggWill found his on eBay. Check the classifieds here too. You never know if someone is selling.

Welcome and congrats..yes they are a beautiful car and kind of rare to see on every corner....Like BMW, Benz, etc.

What are you gonna do about those dreaded front tag holes?..Do you have to have a front tag in Houston?...When I bought mine from Plano..I had them replace the bumper...OK doesn't require a front tag.

Nice, are those 350Z wheels? I came from a 350Z > G37 > and now the XFR

Sounds good, I will do that. I love these cars but the stock exhaust note is a bit too tame for me, but I also don't want it to be obnoxiously loud.

Thank you, yes that is one of the reasons why I wanted one. Bimmers, Lexus, Audi, Mercedes are all too commonplace. There are of course a few models of each that I like...but for some reason they just don't do it for me. It doesn't feel "special" enough like the XFR does.

Ah I was waiting for someone to mention the license plate holes. I will see if I can get bumper plugs for them. I believe it is required in Texas, but I never have one.

Thanks! Even the regular XF's are great cars. I was initially going to get that, but decided to wait and save up more.

Haha bring 'em on! The first comment I got was from a girl probably in her 20's walking by and saying "Damn, that is a BADASS car." And she kept staring while walking away. Another guy asked what kind of car that was and said it was gorgeous.

Whenever a Jaguar arrives people notice!

================================================== =
You dreamed of a big star -
He played a mean guitar -
He loved to drive his Jaguar...

So welcome to the machine

Welcome and congrats on your fine looking R! The F is nice but if you're into sedans this is the right choice.
