Here's mine with the overiders removed. I really like the look.

Max, is that a X150 grill stake? How did you attach it?

I like this, I have the XKR 3 pc grill on my XK8 but like the look of this better.

I like this, I have the XKR 3 pc grill on my XK8 but like the look of this better.
I'm also waiting to hear where it came from. I just removed my over riders and have a nice clean opening waiting for something to make it pop.

In actuality, the grille was purchased from Mina Gallery. Chris provided the strake (2007 XK8) and mounted it on the grille for me. The strake has two threaded openings on the back and is held on the grille with two screws. Since then, I've purchased several other items from him, and always found him to be a pleasure to deal with.

It's difficult to tell from the photo, so you have a black mesh grill with the strake mounted to it.

Yes, the strake is mounted on the mesh grille. The mesh grille itself is mounted on the black crossbar that the over-riders were originally attached to using "L" brackets I fabricated.
