If anyone is going to wait for us at Moby Vic's (Shell Servo at Johnston Rd/Wildhorse Mtn), please let me know. Also, please let me know if you will be at the NB or SB servo. Otherwise, I see no reason to stop.
Stu, I be at the northbound servo around 8 am. I will park just north of maccas away from the crowd.
Maybe meeting a couple of Brisbane guys on Milton Rd at 7.30, yet to hear from them.
If we leave the BP at 8:30am we will make it to the Air Museum around 9am. Doesn't matter to me because I can stand around talking cars for several hours! Remember to bring an umbrella!
I finally got in contact with Peter the event organizer today. Just confirmed all is ok and 930am start is good. As he mentioned it is $10 a head which is pretty sweet. He told me he won't be there on Sunday but a bloke named Ray will be there helping us get organized. The place officially opens to the public at 10am.
We talked about the forcasted rain also. Hopefully not too bad. He did mention that when there is a cloudy or rainy day on the coast he seems to get more numbers at the Aero museum as people tend to give the beach a miss. Who knows.
Well, with any luck it should be a hoot!

I hope you all got back safely with this crappy weather. Surprisingly enough the weather was ok whilst we were there. The guys at the Aero club were real top blokes too and made us very welcome. Some pics below but I am sure you guys with the fancy cameras took some better ones!
Even though the weather did not cooperate, it was a great day out. Thanks once again Paul for organising the event and Clarke for keeping everyone up to date with additional posts and PM's. Thank you also to everyone who contributed to lunch (the best part of the day).
At 1:05pm the XJ40 was still marooned at NB Moby Vic's. My best guess is that it broke down in the past 24 hours and was removed from the Bruce Hwy as a precaution.
Thank you Paul for organising another great day out, and every one else for coming out with shocking weather forecast for the day.
Great to catch up with all, and few new members as well.
Hi All,
Just wanted to say a big thank you to all who turned out today. Our cats had very wet feet! It was a pleasure to meet each and every one of you. A big thanks to Paul. Well done!
Looking forward to many more catch ups.
Please let me know if I can help in any future plans.
